We enjoy noting the differences of the culture here in Tennessee. People seem to be more polite and every other radio station is some sort of country music. There are many similarities to life in Indiana or Michigan and we see the same basic store chains and restaurants with a few neat exceptions.
Today we went to Walmart for a prescription and standing outside was a Salvation Army person asking for donations…with one minor difference….he was using a banjo instead of a bell.
I gave him a dollar and asked if I could take his picture.
