Our Welcome Must Be Worn Out

Scientists have speculated that migratory birds use some sort of connection to the earth’s magnetic fields to know how to navigate the globe when their instincts tell them it is time to migrate south.

When people have company or relatives visit there comes a time that the company should really get the hint and leave. It may be when the hosts are sitting there and yawning or if one of them goes to bed….whatever it may be there is usually a sign that those visiting have worn out their welcome.

Today the Tennessee weather gave us a hint that it is just about time to drain the tanks, hook up the F350 to the sleigh and go further south. We no longer own a snow shovel, blower, bag of salt or any of the typical winter gear that we use to own. So it is time to hunt and gather somewhere else.

Next stop after Christmas….Georgia….then to Orlando.
