We pulled in yesterday afternoon to a campground in Saint Marys, Georgia to spend the next 30 days. The park is small and seems to be very quiet. We have already met 2 couples from Canada who come here for the winter…so this must be the place.
This morning bright and early we heard a rooster letting us know….for at least a couple of hours….that it was morning.
The owners apparently keep a small flock of chickens who are definitely the free-range variety. They worked their way around our RV to forage for bugs and they were having a good time. It was fun to be welcomed to the day in a traditional manner.
