We are camped near the Kings Bay Naval Submarine Base where there are estimated about 3,000 military plus some number of civilians working on the compound. The base is a large piece of land which includes barracks, apartments, housing, pre-school and all sorts of things a small town would require.
They also have a golf course called Trident Lakes.
The nice part about this course is that the cost is very low compared to other courses in the area….and it is open to the public. If I get out there before 10:30am and walk the 9 holes I can play for $5. On Thursdays they offer a 1-hour lesson by their golf pro…and it only costs $5.
Of all the stimulus dollars Obama has thrown away….the support of this course is a great way to get me stimulated.
