We enjoy attending church every week. We find it a time of refreshment and a chance to connect with other Christians. When we are camping in a location for a period of time we prefer to connect and participate with one church. It helps us to understand more about the people who live in the area.
Finding a church can be a little hit-or-miss – our preference is for it to be somewhat contemporary with their music….friendly people….and a pastor who simply teaches from the Bible without a bunch of “extras” added in.
Well it looks like we have found a good one.
Lakeshore Christian is located between our campground and Lake Michigan with a medium-size congregation. We have attended for three weeks and have enjoyed our time together.
They are a group of people who love God and are seeking to live Christ-like lives. Very refreshing.
It will make spending November in Michigan bearable!!!
