Some years ago we tried to come up with a unique Christmas gift to give members of our family that would be useful but not cost us too much. Art came up with the idea of some sort of calendar with personal pictures. Mary purchased a software package called “Calendar Creator”.
Over the years she has kept the software up to date and annually gathers new pictures and corrections for the next edition. She makes a slightly different version of the calendar for the different branches of the family. There is one for Art’s brother and his grown children, another for Mary’s 6 brothers and sisters plus their grown children and a bit of a hybrid version for Art’s mom.
She also makes a different version for each of our 4 children and their families.
Once she gets everything organized and printed….we go to Staples to have it bound with clear covers and stock backing. The result is a nice unique present that is usable by all the family. I’m glad that Mary has the patience and talent to do this every year.
