Peter Principle

The Peter Principle is a belief that, in an organization where promotion is based on achievement, success, and merit, that organization’s members will eventually be promoted beyond their level of ability.

Art worked with a young man named Peter who helped him with the media ministry of our home church in Upland, IN for a few years. Peter is now a college student who is very ambitious and currently working the Super Bowl media services in New Orleans. He worked the Super Bowl in Indianapolis last year and this is a continuation of the same kind of job based on his excellent performance of last year.

He had a few days off so he called and wondered if we wanted company for a day…of course we said “Come on down” and he drove the 2.5 hours from his B&B in New Orleans to our campground in Pensacola.

We took him to the Pensacola beach area and the Naval Aviation Museum for a full day of tourism. We had a good visit. He stayed overnight since he had a couple days off – our air mattress hide-a-bed was just fine. We had breakfast this morning, then he took off to do some fishing and visit the USS Alabama on his way back home.

We love company….so if any of our friends want a little adventure be sure to follow the Peter Principle and come on down.
