Last Supper

One of the things we have enjoyed on the Gulf Coast is the abundance of fresh seafood. Tomorrow morning we will hook up and start our journey north. We have reserved our next 3 nights in campgrounds in Greenville and Athens, Alabama then Cave City, KY. On Friday we will pull into the south side of Indianapolis where we will stay for a month.

To celebrate our last supper we opted to get a pound of fresh shrimp from a local vendor who will also boil it for free in mild, medium or Cajun spice. We picked “Cajun” and waited about five minutes to have them cooked.

Once home Mary baked some bread made from eggs and cheese to go along with it (no wheat!!). The meal was a great reminder of our time here in the coastal community.

We are looking forward to coming back here in November!!!
