We get to go to birthday parties!!!
Our oldest granddaughter turned 8 this week and is getting ready for 3rd grade. It’s hard to believe she is already that old. The family gathered last Sunday, had some birthday cake and celebrated her milestone.
We enjoyed seeing the grand kids (and some of their cousins) run amok around the house and have fun. It is really hard to remember being that young. We also enjoy celebrating with our youngest son and daughter-in-law, who moved back to Indy from Portland, OR. They can come and hang out with the nieces and nephews for important things like birthdays.
We enjoyed the good fellowship and celebration. We got a look into the life of young kids today…..she got her very own cell phone for a birthday present. Pretty cool if I say so myself.
